The Issues Fixer tool in the Project
Refinement
toolset can help fix some issues inside
Revit.

After the button is clicked, the following dialog will appear.

Element Cut/Copy & Paste

  • Auto-Copy Graphics Overrides

           
Revit does not take care of graphics overrides of elements when
being cut/copied and pasted. If the option is set as
TRUE in the dialog, and there are some
walls and doors having graphics overrides as follows,


            R_Fixer_CopyElementsVisibilities_Source

           
they will be properly copied over to the new walls and doors as
shown in the following screenshot.

    Otherwise, the newly created walls and
doors will all lose their original graphics overrides.

Sheet Issue Date

Revit has a hard coded format for the Sheet Issue Date, but it
may not suit for all situations.

If the Fix the Problem is marked as
True and the Date Culture to
Use
is properly set such as Windows
in the dialog,


R_Fixer_SheetIssueDate_DateCultureOptions

whenever a new sheet is created in the future, it will have the
right date format as set by Windows.

R_Fixer_SheetIssueDate_Windows

If the Revit option is chosen, the date format
will follow the culture/language of the current Revit session,
Germany, French, or whatsoever.

If the UI option is chosen, the date format
will follow the culture/language of the UI/dialog, in case more
languages are provided in the future.

If the AsIs option is chosen, nothing will be
done to the Sheet Issue Date.

If the Custom option is chosen, the Sheet
Issue Date format can be set as anything good. A lot of good
candidates are provided in the Custom Date
Format
drop down list.
